Moeders en hun familie ook in 2022 met 80% opnieuw de belangrijkste daders van het misdrijf van Internationale Kinderontvoeringen

In 2022 vond met 17% een sterke toename plaats van het aantal Internationale Kinderontvoeringen van en naar Nederland, moeders en hun familie bleken met 80% daarbij opnieuw de hoofddaders van internationale kinderontvoeringen te zijn, het preventiebeleid van justitie faalde volledig.

Uit de jaarcijfers over 2022 van het Centrum voor Internationale Kinderontvoering (IKO) blijkt:

dat moeders en hun familie (80%), en niet vaders (20%), de hoofddaders zijn van Internationale Kinderontvoering, zowel van als naar Nederland;
dat het aantal Internationale Kinderontvoeringen van en naar Nederland in 2022 met 17% sterk is toegenomen;
dat het preventiebeleid vanuit het verantwoordelijke Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid volstrekt heeft gefaald;
dat cross-border mediation vanuit Centrum IKO in de meerderheid van opgestarte zaken heeft gefaald;
dat IKO in haar jaarverslagen verder geen verantwoording aflegt over door haar met haar bemoeienis en activiteiten bereikte resultaten, noch inzake Internationale Kinderontvoeringszaken w.b. het aantal succesvolle teruggeleidingen naar herkomstland (‘habitual residence’), noch bij Internationale Omgangszaken w.b. het aantal tot stand gebrachte omgangsregelingen;
dat IKO verder in haar jaarverslagen ook geen duidelijkheid verschaft over het aantal Internationale Kinderontvoeringszaken van en naar Nederland met de andere EU-landen.

In 2022 the number of International Child Abductions to and from the Netherlands strongly increased (by 17%): mothers and their families were by far the main perpetrators of the crime of International Child Abductions (by 80%), Dutch justice prevention policy failed completely.

Reported annual figures for 2022 by the Dutch Center for International Child Abduction (IKO) show:

that mothers and their families (80% in 2022), and not fathers (20% in 2022), are by far the main perpetrators of the crime of International Child Abductions, both to and from the Netherlands;
that in 2022 the number of International Child Abductions to and from the Netherlands increased sharply by 17% in comparison with the previous year;
that the prevention policy from the responsible Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security had failed completely;
that cross-border mediation from Center IKO had failed in the majority of initiated cases;
that IKO did not provide any further accountability in its annual reports for results achieved through its involvement and activities, nor with regard to International Child Abduction Cases regarding the number of successful returns to the country of origin (‘habitual residence’), nor in International Child Access Cases, regarding the number of cross-border contact arrangements established;
that IKO did not provide clarity in its annual reports about the number of International Child Abduction cases to and from the Netherlands with other EU member countries.
