April 25 is International Parental Alienation Awareness Day

Parental Alienation is Child Abuse

Parental Alienation Study Group has since its founding in 2010 been the world’s leading voice on the issue of parental alienation. We do this through our advocacy and in recognition of our three interlocking goals of research, education, and correcting misinformation about parental alienation.

As our membership and outreach grow, we wish to keep informed all those who advocate on this topic with us. This announcement serves particularly those who are perhaps new to the fight.

First introduced in 2005 and, since 2008, recognized every year on April 25, Parental Alienation Awareness Day is part of a global campaign to raise awareness about parental alienation. The aim of the day is to make the general public, judges, police officers, mental health care workers, child protection agencies, lawyers, as well as friends and family of targeted children or their parents become aware of this pervasive and growing problem.

Parental Alienation Study Group asks you – and all those you encounter – to become educated on the topic and to spread the word about this form of child abuse and domestic violence. Whether you’re a parent, a professional, or just someone seeking understanding of this issue, we ask you to become involved. If you are reading this message but aren’t yet a member of our non-profit organization, please join. To do that, go to our website https://www.pasg.info and click on the Membership tab and follow the instructions. Please join today.

Warmest regards,

Phillip Hendrix
President, Parental Alienation Study Group
